The rise of the global revolution of biotechnology in early 1980s provided the exceptional opportunity for overseas Chinese scientist to walk alongside with their counterparts in developed countries on the same platform of biotechnology development. After years of intensive researching and conscientious thinking, we have perceptively been aware of the broad biological implications and great prospect of medicinal application by enhancement of biological activities and functions of known proteins through protein engineering technology.

To explore the feasibility of protein engineering technology for medicinal application, we undertook huge financial investment on establishing the world-class centers for biotechnology research in North America and in China. After decade of intensive investigation, we succeeded in solving some of the key obstacles in protein engineering technology, created and optimized a protein engineering technology platform with proprietary intellectual right that has been proven to be an invaluable biotechnology system for medicinal innovation. For the first time in human history, specific biological activities of known proteins can be improved and raised for over hundred times, which is certainly a significant milestone in protein engineering technological development as well as in biotechnological advancement. Undoubtedly, we are the leader in the field of the development of the cutting-edge technology of protein engineering for medicinal protein drug innovation.

Faithfully dedicated to the ultimate goal of better serving public health and making significant contribution to acquisition of innovative therapies for cancer and infectious diseases, we will spare no effort to accelerate the translation of the phenomenal technology breakthrough into an efficacious and safe biological drug for treatment of varieties of cancer and viral infectious diseases through high quality scale-up manufacture, preclinical and clinical studies.
